The Islamic Republic of Iran Army said in a statement No. 53 that drone strikes were launched from early today against U.S.-linked targets in three regional countries.
According to the statement, the targets included a logistics equipment warehouse and accommodation sites used by U.S. military forces in Jordan, the deployment location of a mechanized battalion of a U.S. armored brigade at Camp Arifjan, and Aluminium Bahrain in Bahrain, described as supporting U.S. military industries.
The statement said the operation came in response to the aggressive actions by the U.S. military and attacks on Iran’s infrastructure, including steel industrial facilities in Isfahan and Khuzestan and Bridge B1 in Karaj.
It added that Camp Arifjan serves as a logistical base for armored vehicles and hosts several U.S. infantry and field support units.
The statement also described Aluminium Bahrain as the largest aluminum smelter in Bahrain with strategic cooperation involving U.S. industries.
The army said any further hostile action would be answered through combined measures beyond expectations.
